P2i™- ​Preconception to Infancy- is an initiative that creates a bridge of understanding between environmental exposures and women’s health, so that women are informed and able to minimize the impact of toxicants on health. P2i recognizes that women’s health across the lifespan is fundamental, and women must be empowered to make choices that benefit their health, and the health of their children should they decide to conceive.

P2i envisions a world where all women minimize the impact of environmental exposures on their health and the health of their families.​ PAS played a crucial role in educating Kirkman and Purity Laboratories about the health benefits of Choline. Additionally, PAS collaborates with companies on regulatory and compliance factors, including ANSI 455-02 cGMP standards.
The certification process involves referencing FIGO / The Forum and its recommendation for a standard, reflecting the collaborative effort of global scientists to identify and agree on chemicals that should not be present in products. PAS collaborates with companies, such as Purity Laboratories and Kirkman to ensure public assurance, aligning with FIGO's guidance for certification. The certification process tests for 190+ toxins and chemicals, 24 heavy metals, 10 micro-biologicals (micro-testing), 14 allergens, and pesticides and contaminants.
All ingredients must be safe, and daily consumption threshold well below recognized and accepted State regulatory Standards. In addition, Kirkman utilizes UL and their cGMP audit for ANSI 455-02 Certification.

We will make recommendations based on science, integrity, and an understanding of the role of environmental risks and exposures on health. Education of health care providers and the public is integral to bringing about change, but collaboration with like-minded organizations must take place to change health care and environmental policy.
